About the event

We're getting together at Liv Eat in Glebe Hill Village on Wednesday, April 24th, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

"Cuppa with a Cop" is all about bringing our community closer and talking about safety. As a bonus, we're treating everyone to free coffee and banana bread. You can also join in the conversation with our Tasmanian Police officers. We're open to talking about neighbourhood safety, community needs, any concerns you might have, and even how to feel safer while shopping.

Join us for an exciting opportunity to explore police bikes and various other vehicles, suitable for all ages, from the young to the young at heart. Experience the thrill of police bikes with their flashing lights and quick siren bursts. In addition, we're thrilled to showcase a drone, providing the community with invaluable insights. Learn to distinguish between police drones and those potentially used by criminals for nefarious purposes such as scouting properties for targeting homes or businesses. Furthermore, we aim to educate the community about the emergence of this technology, highlighting its role in monitoring reckless driving, especially considering restrictions on police pursuits of youths on motorized bikes.

WHEN: Wednesday, 24th April from 11am

WHERE: Liv Eat, Glebe Hill Village

It’s free but please RSVP so we know how many people are coming!

See you there.
